The Gangwon Land Social Contribution Foundation announced on the 31st that it will hold a
"Hope Joint Concert" for residents in abandoned mine areas in southern Gangwon Province next month.
The event was designed to provide residents in abandoned mine areas with opportunities to enjoy
culture and arts and to improve the quality of life of residents.
Earlier, the Hope Joint Concert was held first in Samcheok on the 25th.
Starting with this, the foundation will hold performances at the Jeongseon Arirang Center on the 6th
of next month, the Taebaek Culture and Arts Center on the 7th, and the Yeongwol Culture and Arts Center on the 19th.
The blind orchestra "Hanbit Art Troupe" will appear at the event.
In addition, singer Bae Da-hae will be the guest of Jeongseon and Taebaek performances, while musical actor
Hong Ji-min will be the guest of Yeongwol performances.
The performance will be held for an hour from 7 p.m. on the same day. Hanbit Art Troupe will
perform in various configurations, including brass ensemble, band, and orchestra, while Bae Da-hae and
Hong Ji-min will perform famous musical music.

revitalize cultural and artistic performances in the Pegwang area," adding, "As it is a free performance,
I hope that many people will heal with beautiful melodies at the Hope Ear Concert."
